Conversely, when representing Buyers, I know the various tactics used by Brokers and keep my Clients from being swayed by their methods. Working with Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investments and First American Title has given me the ability to bring additional value to my Clients when making investment decisions, navigating the escrow process and understanding title concerns. I also maintain a California Real Estate Managing Broker’s license.
I earned my degree in Business and Management Information Systems from California State University, Chico in 2002. This formal education, along with many years in Sales & Sales Management, gave me a solid foundation to build on from the beginning of my career. Understanding the fundamentals of Sales and Negotiations are more reasons I have an edge on my competitors since many never attended college or have a Sales background. As well, I have taken college courses in Real Estate and stay on top of current issues and topics through continuing education classes.
Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) Designation
Less than 1% of all agents nationally have received this certification. This designation is achieved by successfully completing the coursework and formal training in the art of real estate negotiation. This training has elevated my negotiation skills which gives my clients a competitive edge through the transaction process.
Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) Certification
I earned the nationally recognized Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) certification. The National Association of REALTORS® offers the PSA certification to REALTORS® as determining property values depends more than ever on professional expertise and competence, the best use of technology, and a commitment to approach the pricing assignment from various perspectives.
Having a college degree and business experience in technology has helped me stay in the forefront of new and innovative marketing ideas to best serve my clients. Additionally, taking extensive real estate related technology coursework has added more tools to my belt and led to earning my e-PRO Certification. In today’s fast-paced environment, understanding how to navigate the digital world, grab viewer attention and reach the broadest audience is imperative to your success.
